Ewes
Our ewes proved themselves to be champions needing little lambing assistance, with excellent mothering abilities.
Great weight gains are accomplished with lambing taking place in late April and May when the grass is greening up, and supplementing with creep feed and minerals. The health of the flock is carefully managed. Pasture rotation reduces parasites, optimizes growth rates of lambs, and maximizes native pasture yields.
Our two llamas, Dancing Queen and Surprise, do a great job of protecting the flock from coyotes.
