Purebred Katahdin Sheep

Barkman Katahdins is located a few miles southeast of Brandon, Manitoba. We began raising purebred Katahdin sheep in 2016. We purchased our first 22 ewes and a ram from Mish Katahdins. Katahdin sheep are hair sheep so they do not need shearing. They are docile and even tempered. They make excellent mothers and the lambs grow quickly. The meat is mild flavoured and tender. Our goal is to sell the best animals for breeding stock while at the same time carefully growing our flock with high quality genetics.
